Product Description

Ramipril Tablets are prescribed to be used for treatment of hypertension & congestive heart failure with inhibition of ACE. They are known to work by reducing production of angiotensin II and breakdown of bradykinin. This activity of these tablets results in arteriole smooth muscle relaxation assuring decrease in total peripheral resistance. Ramipril has chemical formula C23H32N2O5 with molar mass of 416.511 g/mol and elimination half life of 2-4 hours. Ramipril Tablets show protein binding ability of around 73% with bioavailability of 28%. They are also indicated for kidney damage occurred due to diabetes with protein content in urine.
