Norepinephrine Injection is catecholamine which is administered via intravenous route for treatment of low blood pressure and in sepsis. It has molecular formula C8H11NO3 with molar mass of 169.18 g/mol and excretion in urine. This injection is known to work by stimulating alpha-1 & alpha-2 adrenergic receptors resulting in contraction of blood vessels.
