Divalproex Sodium Eq. Valproic Acid Tablets have been formulated to be used for treatment of epilepsy and are known to have excellent anticonvulsant properties. Active compound of these tablets has chemical formula C16H31NaO4 with molar mass of 310.41 g/mol. Upon ingestion, they rapidly get absorbed in body and show protein binding ability of 80 to 90% with metabolism in liver by glucuronide conjugation & mitochondrial beta oxidation. Divalproex Sodium Eq. Valproic Acid Tablets also show high effectiveness in prevention of generalized & partial seizures.
